TxDOT maintains a statewide automated database for all reported motor vehicle traffic crashes since 2003. Reports are published annually and contain motor vehicle traffic crash statistics for use in project planning and traffic safety initiatives. Statistics contained in these reports are generated from data provided by TxDOT’s Crash Records Information System.
Note: The previous year's data is published by August of the following year.
