Amadeo Saenz, TxDOT's executive director, hosted an informal discussion on statewide transportation topics and issues during the last episode of "The Road Show" webcast, held on Monday, Feb. 7.

His special guest was State Senator Tommy Williams, Chairman of the Senate Transportation and Homeland Security Committee.

The development of tools like TxDOT Tracker, Project Tracker and the "The Road Show" webcast are just a few of the efforts TxDOT is using to improve communications between the department and Texans.

On Dec. 6, 2010, Mike Heiligenstein, executive director of the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, was the special guest.

On Oct. 19, 2010, State Representative Eddie Rodriguez, Vice Chair of the House Select Committee on Transportation Funding, joined Saenz to discuss a recent report he received from the Texas Transportation Institute on "The Cost of Doing Nothing" as well as transportation issues facing the State Legislature.

On May 17, 2010, Saenz hosted the first "Road Show," and invited the public to participate and submit questions. His first guest was Transportation Commission Chair Deirdre Delisi.
