Open House - I-35 Frontage Road and RM 150 Improvements

• Widening the northbound and southbound frontage roads from two to three lanes.
• Construction of a short section of new southbound frontage road extending from approximately 400 feet north of Cortez Road to its intersection with S. Old Hwy 81, approximately 2,800 feet south of Center Street [RM 150].
• Converted frontage roads from two-way traffic to one-way traffic.
• Nine new ramps at different locations would replace existing entrance and exit ramps.
• Approximately 10.4 acres of additional right-of-way would be required

Improvements to RM 150 would consist of:

• The realignment of the RM 150 east of IH 35 to line up with RM 150 west of IH 35
• Widening RM 150 from a two-lane section to a four-lane divided section
• Safety lighting at appropriate locations
