Obtaining a request for proposal (RFP)

Individuals and companies wishing to provide right of way acquisition services to TxDOT should request copies of RFPs by submitting a letter of interest (LOI). An LOI is a simple statement indicating interest in our RFPs.

If an RFP is being published, it can be downloaded from this page or obtained by attending a pre-proposal conference (if one is held).

Notifying TxDOT of your interest in the RFP

If RFPs or attachments are obtained by downloading or attending a pre-proposal conference, you must notify TxDOT of your interest in the RFP if you wish to receive clarifications or amendments to the RFP package.

Notify TxDOT in writing, via fax, e-mail, or mail, by contacting the person listed as point of contact in the request for letters of interest or the RFP and its Supplement(s). The notification must include the RFP number, company name, point of contact, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number.

Failure to notify TxDOT of your interest in the RFP

If you have not notified TxDOT of your interest in the RFP, you waive all claims to redress if you submit proposals that receive reduced scores because the proposals do not incorporate or respond to clarifications or amendments to the RFP package.
