  • Over 16’ wide but not exceeding 95’ long: One escort is required.
  • Over 16’ wide and 95’ long: Front and rear escorts are required.
  • Over 18’ wide: Front and rear escorts are required.
  • Andrews County, Andrews Truck Route 03-05-09 All loads must detour Andrews via the designated truck route.
    This truck route consists of Mustang Dr that begins at N.US385 and goes west, south and east, then turns north on SE.Mustang Dr/ E.7th St and stops at SH115/SH176 on the east side.
    Do not drop off and pick up from any other city roads to detour downtown Andrews.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Andrews County, SH115 03-08-11 11’ max width from ½ mile west of FM1788 to ½ mile east of FM1788.
    Andrews County, JCT SH115 & FM1788 07-22-11 17’ max height at JCT SH115 & FM1788.
    This restriction affects travel straight through on both highways.
    This restriction affects all turns to and from either highway.
    Andrews County, SH176 WB 03-20-08 No loads traveling westbound into New Mexico are allowed to stop on the side of the road between US385 and the Texas/New Mexico State Line to wait for their escorts to meet them.
    Crane County, Crane Truck Route 05-07-98 All loads must detour Crane via truck route.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Ector County, City of Odessa 12-21-11 No permits on all highways inside the loop formed by IH20 and LP338 on the east, north, and west side of Odessa unless the load has an origin or destination here.
    Loads with an origin or destination: The permit specialist must contact Doug Paup in the Ector County Maintenance Office for approval: (432) 552-6767.
    Ector County, W.BI20 WB to IH20 EB in Odessa 09-16-08 No direct access traveling from W.BI20 WB to IH20 EB.

    Detour for up to 15’6" high (if coming from east of W.LP338): "...BI20w, W.LP338s, IH20e..."
    Detour for up to 15’6" high (if starting between of W.LP338 and W.IH20): "...BI20w, First At Grade Crossover West of W.LP338, BI20 SFRe, IH20 SFRe, Enter east of W.LP338, IH20e..."
    Ector County, W.BI20 SFR WB to IH20 WB in Odessa 09-16-08 There is no direct access traveling from W.BI20 SFR WB to IH20 WB.

    FYI: Murphy St is state maintained from W.LP338 to IH20 just east of FM1913.
    Murphy St is BI20 SFR.

    Detour using BI20 SFR (Murphy St): "...BI20 SFRw, IH20 SFRw, Crossover @ FM1936, IH20w..."
    Ector County, US385 07-03-07 12' max width and/or 15' max height from SP450 to BI20 in Odessa.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Martin County, IH20 SFR 08-20-10 No lowboy type trailers at W.BI20 in Stanton.
    Martin County, SH137 SB 08-22-06 14’8" max height SB at the railroad crossing on the south side of BI20 in Stanton.
    This is due to a flashing sign.
    Martin County, SH137 01-31-00 No lowboy type trailers without hydraulics over the railroad crossing on the south side of BI20 in Stanton.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Martin County, FM829 08-30-05 Access from the IH20 ML’s is WB only.
    FM829 can be accessed from the IH20 NFR and SFR.
    Martin County, FM3033 at IH20 03-16-01 There is no access to FM3033 from the IH20 SFR.
    Midland County, IH20 ML, NFR, and SFR 07-13-10 14’ max width on the ML, NFR and SFR from CR1140 to E.BI20/IH20 SFR in Midland.
    CR1140 is at the end of state maintenance of IH20 NFR and SFR southwest of E.BI20 in Midland.
    Midland County, E.BI20 in Midland 06-24-09 No lowboy type trailers without hydraulics when exiting and entering to/from BI20 ML to/from BI20 SFR between E.LP250 and E.IH20 in Midland.
    This restriction also affects crossing to/from BI20 SFR to/from BI20 NFR.
    This is due to a railroad that is between BI20 ML and BI 20 SFR affecting these ramps and at-grade crossovers.
    Midland County, E.BI20 SFR in Midland 01-21-04 No lowboy type trailers, unless hydraulic, over the railroad crossing between E.LP250 and E.IH20 in Midland.
    Midland County, SH349/FM1788 under SH191 04-13-11 18’ max height under SH191.
    Midland County, FM307 05-16-06 There is no access from FM307 to IH20 EB or from IH20 WB to FM307.
    Midland County, FM307 01-11-11 10’ max width from CR1140 to CR1120 east of Midland.
    CR1140 is located approximately 1 ½ miles east of IH20.
    CR1120 is located approximately 3 ½ miles east of IH20.
    Midland County, FM1208 08-30-05 No access from the IH20 ML’s.
    FM1208 can be accessed from the IH20 NFR and SFR.
    Midland County, LP250 NB and EB in Midland
    Portion of SH158 NB
    08-29-11 16' max width and/or no weight NB and EB from IH20 to Fairgrounds Rd in Midland.
    Fairgrounds Rd is located approximately 1 ½ miles east of BS349.
    This restriction also affects SH158 NB where it is double signed with W.LP250.
    Pecos County, US190 07-09-09 Over 200,000 lbs max GVW between FM305 to E.SH349 in Iraan: The mover must contact the Iraan maintenance office Monday-Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm, to inform them when they will enter this restriction: (432) 639-2710.
    This is due to steep hills.
    Pecos County, US190 05-06-09 Over 14’wide: Front and rear escorts are required from FM305 to E.SH349 in Iraan.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Pecos County, US190 06-28-01 Turning off of US190 between IH10 and FM305 must have a flagman to warn traffic.
    Pecos County, US190 05-25-11 No weight from IH10 to FM305.
    Pecos County, US285 SB 05-28-02 20' max width and/or 75' max length SB through the W.BI10 intersection in Fort Stockton.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Pecos County, US285 05-13-11 No permits from W.Gomez Rd to CR Mendell Rd. northwest of Fort Stockton.
    W.Gomez Rd is located approximately 5 miles southeast of FM1776.
    CR Mendell Rd is located approximately 6 miles northwest of FM1776.
    Pecos and Terrell Counties, SH349 04-16-10 Over 14' wide and/or all trailers over 59’ long: Front and rear escorts are required from US90 to IH10.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Pecos County, SH349 04-16-10 Over 14' wide and/or all trailers over 59’ long: Front and rear escorts are required from IH10 to E.US190 in Iraan.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Pecos County, FM305 05-06-09 Over 14’wide: Front and rear escorts are required from US190 to the Pecos/Crockett County line.

    Terrell and Pecos Counties, SH349 04-16-10 Over 14' wide and/or all trailers over 59’ long: Front and rear escorts are required from US90 to IH10.

    Upton County, SH349 10-24-00 No permits from US67 to LP576 in Rankin.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Upton County, LP576 05-07-98 All loads traveling SB on SH349 to US67 or NB on US67 to SH349 NB, must use LP576 in Rankin.

    This is a permanent restriction.
    Ward County, Monahans Truck Route 08-18-05 All loads must use the truck route through Monahans.
    The North/South truck route is LP464.
    The East/West truck route is IH20.
    Travel to SH18 between IH20 and S.LP464 is OK.
    Ward County, SH115 01-26-06 No lowboy type trailers without hydraulics over the railroad crossing between SP57 and FM2355 in Pyote.
    Winkler County, Kermit Truck Route 05-07-98 All loads must detour Kermit via truck route.
