Bryan District Permit Restrictions

Bryan District, All Counties, All State Maintained Highways 08-05-10 Over 17' high:
The permit specialist must send a copy of the permit to the Bryan District office: BRY_CashPermit@txdot.gov
The mover must contact Bryan District at (979) 778-2165 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 24 hours prior to moving in any county Bryan District.
The mover must use a TxDOT approved signal contractor to disconnect, temporarily raise, and reconnect any overhead mast arm or span wire assemblies. This work will be performed to satisfaction of TxDOT.
All costs will be the responsibility of the mover.

03-29-11 Over 15’ high: The mover must contact the City of Bryan Public Works, (979) 209-5900, 24 hours prior to entering the Bryan city limits.
This includes, but not limited to, the sections of SH6, SH21, and FM2818 inside the Bryan city limits.

Cities of Bryan and College Station

All loads must be detoured around downtown Bryan and College Station by using FM2818 and/or SH6.
SH21 may be used without any approval from Bryan District.
The permit specialist must obtain approval from Bryan District for all other routes inside the loop formed by FM2818 and SH6.
