Bryan District Permit Restrictions

Bryan District, All Counties, All State Maintained Highways	08-05-10	Over 17' high: The permit specialist must send a copy of the permit to the Bryan District office: BRY_CashPermit@txdot.gov The mover must contact Bryan District at (979) 778-2165 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 24 hours prior to moving in any county Bryan District. The mover must use a TxDOT approved signal contractor to disconnect, temporarily raise, and reconnect any overhead mast arm or span wire assemblies. This work will be performed to satisfaction of TxDOT. All costs will be the responsibility of the mover.
Brazos County, City of Bryan	03-29-11	Over 15’ high: The mover must contact the City of Bryan Public Works, (979) 209-5900, 24 hours prior to entering the Bryan city limits. This includes, but not limited to, the sections of SH6, SH21, and FM2818 inside the Bryan city limits. This is a permanent restriction.
Brazos County, Cities of Bryan and College Station	07-02-10	All loads must be detoured around downtown Bryan and College Station by using FM2818 and/or SH6. SH21 may be used without any approval from Bryan District. The permit specialist must obtain approval from Bryan District for all other routes inside the loop formed by FM2818 and SH6. This is a permanent restriction.
Brazos and Robertson Counties, FM50	10-31-11	Curfew: No permits from E.SH21 to US79 from 7-8am and 3-5pm Monday through Friday. This is a permanent restriction.
Brazos County, FM50	08-30-11	No permits from E.SH21 to the Robertson/Brazos County line.
Brazos County, FM60 NE to SH47 NW	05-02-07	There is no access traveling FM60 NE to SH47 NW.
Brazos County, FM60 at FM2154	10-27-08	No permits traveling NW to SW or NE to SE. All other turns are not affected by this restriction. Traveling SW to SE does not travel under the 14'6" overhead structure. This is not a standard intersection.
Brazos County, FM1179	08-30-11	No permits from SH6 to 1 mile northeast of FM158.
Burleson County, FM60	01-10-11	12’ max width and/or 13’ max height from FM111 to SH21.
Burleson County, FM60	06-11-10	12’ max width from FM2155 to FM50.
Burleson County, FM166	12-07-09	No permits from SH36 to FM3058.
Burleson County, FM908	03-30-11	Over 12' wide: The mover must contact the Burleson County Maintenance Office at (979) 567-7862, 24 hours prior to traveling on FM908 from SH21 to the Milam/Burleson County Line. This is a permanent restriction.
Freestone County, IH45 NB	06-08-05	There is no access to FM489 from IH45 NB.
Freestone County, IH45 EFR	04-16-09	There is no access to/from IH45 main lanes to/from any part of IH45 EFR in Dew. The only way to access this part of IH45 EFR is by way of FM489.

Any permit load with an origin or destination inside the loop formed by these highways must have approval from the Bryan District Permit Coordinator. This is a permanent restriction

Washington County, Brenham Truck Route	11-13-03	All loads must be routed around downtown Brenham by using the truck route which is: US290 w, FM577 n/w, SH36. This is a permanent restriction.
Washington County, City of Burton	10-18-07	No permits through Burton on SP125 or FM390. SP125: from US290 to FM390. FM390: from FM1697 to US290. This is a permanent restriction.
Washington County, Chappell Hill and Earlywine area	07-17-09	Over 17’ high: The mover must contact the Washington County Maintenance Office, (979) 836-9350, prior to entering the Chappell Hill and Earlywine area on the following highways: US290: From FM2447 to the Washington/Waller County line. SH105: From FM390 to FM2193 (east of Earlywine) FM1155: From FM1371 to FM2193. FM2193: From SH105 to FM1155. FM2447: From US290 east and north to the end of state maintenance. A TxDOT employee must be present with the load to assist the mover. This restriction does not apply to permits issued as house moves.
Washington County, US290 Portion of SH36	05-26-11	10’ max width from NW.SH36 to FM577. This restriction also affects SH36 where it is double signed with US290.
Washington County, JCT US290 & FM577	07-13-11	No permits at JCT US290 & FM577. This restriction affects travel straight through on US290. This restriction affects all turns to or from either highway at this junction.
